Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) have
been reported to inhibit serotonin uptake into platelets, resulting in
decreased platelet function. We report a case of a large
intraventricular haemorrhage in a 6-h-old boy, whose mother used
paroxetine during pregnancy.
