Reversible delirium after
discontinuation of fluoxetine.

An elderly patient
developed confusion, disorientation and visual hallucination twice
following discontinuation of fluoxetine. The mental symptoms, however,
disappeared after ingestion of this antidepressant drug. Such an
apparent withdrawal complication of fluoxetine has not been reported
previously.
